Is death the end or not?

There are moments when, to the sobering eye we wake to find the end is closer than we'd like to admit. We humans have a need to believe there is a life after we die. To see through this vial of Earthly possessions and to be forever alive within the whom of our first existence our creature, is a great need in us all. For our souls to ascend above this life, and to know we will not just fade out or turn to ash. We all have a fear of death and what comes after our last breath. Some already have an inkling in their minds, of what is to come after their death or rebirth. I myself asked the same questions "Where do we go after our bodies fail to function or fails altogether to move?"

I have one answer to that question, it is that we do move on after our death. It might be energy or our leftover stuff that we leave behind after it's over of what we touched or from our movements. We do have electricity flowing through our brains and without it we would cease to exist and our hearts would not beat. That's a proven fact. So maybe we do have some form of afterlife in that our electricity leaves its mark or its scar in this reality. Maybe we move on to a different realm of existence, or a different state of mind altogether. I would like to think we do.
