Hello Bat Brats,
The holidays are coming soon, I'm very excited. I love the holidays it's time for family, good cheer, thankfulness and charity. Also decorations for our homes and gifts for the tree. I'm thinking about buying some hot cocoa and marshmallows. Yummy to my Goth belly.
This week is what I call my Gungy Mophead Poetry Week, its one of those weeks when gungy poetry runs rampant in my mind screaming to be let out. I've been scratching at the walls of my bat cave trying to come up with new and unique poems and art pieces. As you can see I have been working hard on new poems and even a new art project.

"May joy, and smiles grace your presenceWill at least the sun has gone into its winters rest, and the clouds have come to set a while. As we began our jubilee of feasting and family. I wish it would snow here in Bakersfield California, but I've lived here my whole life and only once did it snow. Hay but that's okay because I think everyones tires wouldn't hold up on the icy roads. Enough of my rambling, to stick with my Gothic theme I wrote a poem.
with full heartedness this holiday."
Grungy Mophead Poem ----->
Cheer and Joy is all we lack
Be as is it may these days are full of tears,
though someday I will find
the joy.
Once again cheers will be heard
instead of my cries.
Be kind to your soul,
for lost as it might feel
one day you will see
your soul was never lost
or empty,
and that I stood here
the whole time at your door.
I bring to ye,
good cheer and joy
not one day out of the year
but for 365 days in all.
I will be like a ghost from Christmas past,
I'll haunt you to your very last.
Tell the bells toll,
tell your soul dulls,
and the days become dark
and cold.
I will be a dull pain sticking in your back,
each pen prick will remind you of all you lack.
I'm the shadow of Christmas past,
a whisper of old times that will never come back.
Cheer and joy is all we lack!
Here's some Christmas music to start the mood. This reminds me I need to find some Christmas music for my phone.
